What we do
Now in its sixth year, it was the first list worldwide to feature FinTech companies for their innovation. We now have three titles, including The FinTech 50 (Europe) and FinTech50 Asia. Our new list for 2018, The Global Access to Finance50, will showcase innovators worldwide who are helping to promote financial inclusion by helping people and businesses to gain better access to financial services.
We have 1700+ FinTechs across Europe on our long list
We look at FinTech companies across Europe, across all verticals, and there are just two criteria to being selected. Each year we invite an expert panel to select FinTechs to select the FinTechs they believe will be 'the ones to watch'. It's not an awards programme, and there are no outright winners. We don't rely on 'entries' - just the views of our international panel members. It’s our small tribute to a hugely enterprising sector that is transorming financial services. And to the movers, shakers and downright disruptive technologies within it who will be the ones to watch in any given year.
Featured FinTechs tell us that being listed does great things for their business – getting them onto the radar of key investors and customers. Banks and investors want to engage with our community of FinTech innovators across Europe.
The FinTech50 2018 - apply to be on the list
We undertake our own independent research throughout the year, receive recommendations from our panel, and we are often contacted direct by FinTechs (feel free to contact us). We also offer FinTechs the opportunity to present their story in their own words via a short online form. It's entirely optional but ensures that everyone who wants to be considered can get their business onto our panel's radar.
Media coverage for The FinTech50 2017
We founded FinTechCity to create opportunities for FinTech companies, VC investors, Financial Services organisations and Global Techs to meet, discover more about emerging FinTech innovation and do business together. All events in our programme are free to attend (no hidden membership fees) but invitation only - and demand for places is high. If you would like to get on our list, please get in touch
